McGee Media is now accepting applications for a Spring-Summer 2022 internship. The intern will work on a documentary series focused on African American religious history and music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a remote position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What You’ll Be Doing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Compiling research on the topic of the documentary series in a timely manner<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Assisting producers in research for pre-interviews and shoots<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Identifying and accessing archival research<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Providing background research on key scholars or relevant figures to the documentary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Staying current on happenings and events related to the documentary <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We’re Looking For:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Excellent research skills, particularly in the areas of African American studies, music, and religion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Familiarity with scholarly sources and access to research databases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf The ability to deliver research in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cf Strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25cfStrong\u00a0organizational\u00a0skills,\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0ability\u00a0to\u00a0document\u00a0research\u00a0in\u00a0an\u00a0organized\u00a0and\u00a0accessible\u00a0way\u00a0on\u00a0Google\u00a0Drive<\/p>\n\n\n\n
